Taggart Gula is entering his third year in the Real Estate Co-op program at the University of Guelph. As the incoming president, Taggart is excited to take this opportunity to work with the 2024-2025 URECC team to create an incredible case competition and welcome judges, delegates, sponsors and industry members to the 2025 competition!
From his experience with his last Co-op term as a leasing agent at InterRent REIT, as well as being VP of Events for URECC last year, he aims to use the skills he has acquired to put his best effort forward for the team. Taggart is looking forward building connections within the real estate industry and is proud to be a part of a student-led team that has the determination to hosting an amazing competition.
Michelle Haros Palacios

Michelle is in her fourth year of the Real Estate Co-op program at the University of Guelph, and she's back for her third year with the URECC team. With experience from similar volunteer roles, she's got a good handle on event organization and marketing skills, something she's excited to use this term. Michelle is very excited to take on the role of Vice President for URECC and facilitate her team's goals and teamwork.
As for professional aspirations, Michelle is interested in the Sales and Negotiation aspect of Real Estate and would like to pursue a career in that area in the future.
Megan Holtved

Megan Holtved is entering her third year in the Real Estate Program at the University of Guelph. This year, she is thrilled to join the URECC team as the Vice President of Canadian Delegate Outreach.
Having attended the 2023 case competition, Megan is eager to contribute to the student- led initiative that brings together innovative students passionate about Real Estate. She has a strong interest in development and aspires to pursue a career in this area.
Megan loves witnessing the creativity of delegates come to life and is looking forward to working alongside her dynamic team and making this a great event!
Manavv Taneja

Manavv Taneja is a second-year student in the Real Estate and Housing Co-op Program at the University of Guelph. He is joining the URECC team for the first time as the Vice President of International Delegates. Manavv is eager to expand his experience in commercial real estate and is excited to host and engage with global delegates as they compete in this prestigious event.
He is grateful for the opportunity and looks forward to facilitating a thrilling competition and building valuable connections across the industry. In terms of his professional aspirations, Manavv is interested in commercial real estate and plans to pursue a career in the field in the future.
Thomas Hayward

Thomas is entering their third year in the Real Estate Co-op program and is excited to join the team this year as a Corporate Manager of URECC. They are looking forward to working with the great team assembled this year. With experience on the RESA Corporate team, Thomas is eager to apply their skills to secure corporate sponsors for URECC 2025. Most importantly, they want to ensure that everyone attending URECC 2025 has a fantastic experience.
Xavier Boucher

Xavier is a second-year student studying in the Real Estate Co-op program at the University of Guelph. This will be his first year on the URECC team, and he is excited and thankful for the opportunity to bring his knowledge to the team. Xavier’s goal is to make URECC the largest success yet and will accomplish this through effective communication, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Xavier is most interested in REITs and commercial real estate development, and he is looking to further his understanding of Real Estate through his position at URECC.

Matthew is a second-year student at the University of Guelph, studying in the Real Estate Co-op program. As the Brand Ambassador, he is excited to promote the event and assist in various areas to support the team. This will be Matthew’s first year as a member of the URECC team, and he is looking forward to gaining valuable experience while working alongside the team. With a strong interest in property development, Matthew is eager to learn more about the real estate sector and make the most of his co-op opportunities during his time at the University of Guelph.

Will Langlois is a second-year student at the University of Guelph, pursuing a Real Estate and Housing degree through the Co-op Program. As a first-time Brand Ambassador for URECC, Will is eager to contribute to the event's success while gaining insights into its management and operations. With aspirations in commercial real estate, he looks forward to leveraging this experience to develop his skills and network within the industry. Will is excited to support URECC members and maximize the learning opportunities from this unique experience.
